Skin contact Muscadelle (named after the winemaker’s sister) with a nice bit of grip, texture, stone fruit, and spice. Opens with some smokey reduction (which blows off quickly, if that’s not your thing). Sunny, refreshing, and only 9.5% abv. Winner.

This is the third vintage from Oriane Rosner, working solo in Gaillac, macerated the fruit for a month in amphora, before 9 months ageing in the same terracotta vessel. Zero additions.
