Truculence 2021
Truculence 2021
Sauvignon Blanc macerated on the skins for 6 days before fermentation in old barrels and ageing in terracotta amphora. Lots of tropical fruit with a little honey, apricot, and nuttiness. Not your average Sauvignon Blanc(!) but a fresh and generous skin contact / orange wine that won’t turn off people new to this style of wine.

Vincent has recently planted lots more traditional grape varieties, Sulphur is only used on bottling for the Bergecrac Blanc and the Monbazillac. Soils are clay on limestone with iron and flint in the Pecharmant vineyards.
