A nose of cassis, hot dry hillside herbs, and peppery strawberries, giving way to a mouthful of wild blackberries, blackcurrants, dark cherries, and a little garrigue. Nice mouth weight, good depth and length. A really interesting and delicious gamay from a region where it is not commonly grown (Gaillac).
