New Chef Aboard: Josh Berry

We are excited to announce that our good friend Josh Berry will be joining us from this week onwards until Ben is back in action, so you can keep your Friday & Saturday nights kitchen free.

Josh has previously worked at Levan before helping to set up the Copper & Ink restaurant in Blackheath.

Working as a sculptor as well as being a chef, Josh will be bringing a creative vibe that he likes to incorporate into his British cuisine which he describes as "connected to nature and the seasons, simple yet full of adventurous flavours."

Being an artist outside as well as inside the kitchen, Josh is interested in experimenting with the hierarchy of materials and ingredients. He is particularly inspired by Silo in Hackney, the world's first zero waste restaurant which is adopting a more primitive diet, which techniques both modern and ancient.

Our 161@home menu goes live every Friday and Saturday at 10am. What you'll get: two mains, two desserts and a bottle of wine for just £40 .
