What is happening with British cheese makers at the moment?

As the food writer Jenny Linford recently mentioned: "The world of British artisan cheese has been dealt a devastating blow by the closure of restaurants, hotels, pubs and cafes. Practically overnight, cheesemakers and cheesemongers who supplied these businesses saw a massive loss of business." (Read more here.)

This week we are offering a selection of British cheeses to support makers hit by the recent economic developments, as well as a pairing with British cider!

Skin Contact Pétillant Naturel. Fermented in contact with macerated skins of the rare, ancient, Pendragon apple.  Notes of apricot & peach blossom & fruit, smooth, clean, dry but fruity. Fermented with wild yeasts and unfiltered and unpasteurised, zero sulphites. Alc. 7 % vol
